Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Owatonna

Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. There was an issue with my remote, which didn't get fixed. Walls are a bit thin, but all in all, a good stay.

This hotel exceeded my expectations for the price. The staff was wonderful - from the font desk clerk(s) to the maintenance people. Everyone was helpful and went the extra mile to make my stay a good one. I was also pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the beds were.

Cozy room. With hot food breakfast! Like waffle maker, scrambled eggs and sausage! And could have a donut too. Best value we found during the Steele county Fair. Booked it 3 months before!

TRUCK DRIVERS: It's a cheap motel. The finish of the room (which is small) reflects that. The beds aren't bad... memory foam. But OMG the hospitality is phenomenal. I've stayed at $300/ night hotels and didn't receive the kind of service I did here. Plenty of parking next door for trucks at target. The hotel wasn't busy when I was here and they let me park in the lot AND PLUG MY BLOCK HEATER IN!!! Thank you!!!

After reading the reviews we were hesitant but this is Owatonna and choices are limited. We stayed an extended stay and have had no issues. The name of the hotel is MICROTEL, that should be your first clue as to this being a small hotel. The rooms are very small but once again the name should be your first clue. Our queen suite was very well maintained and clean. The breakfast area and lobby were always clean. The owners and staff were always just as nice as could be and very accommodating. The guest laundry had an issue so the night front desk washed an emergency load of clothes for me in the hotel washer (husband needed clean work clothes). Our bed was very comfy. This is not the Hilton resort therefore you're not going to get a resort experience. I think all the hotels in the area are overpriced but for the price it's very much worth it. I have and will recommend staying here to anyone.

Love this place. Has the tempurpedic mattresses in select rooms,(If you don't smoke) other rooms are great also. Across the street from Fleet Farm, and fast food is within walking distance. Staff is friendly and continental breakfast is ok. The only hotel I've stayed in with the tempurpedic mattresses.

This place was nice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Though the building shows a little bit of age, all was clean and pleasant. Considering the time I visited (during one of the worst winter storms in decades, with roads and freeways closed for day) they were short-staffed, but nothing was missed. It's a nice place at a great price.

Big shout out to Microtel ,My Family and I stayed two nights in two different states on our way to SD, I'm a borderline germaphobe and cleanliness is always the first thing I look for , presentation upon entry : very clean, front desk person: very pleasant ,the rooms ? Bee line straight to the bathroom ,sink , tub and toilet ? Omg , immaculate, bed made nicely, covers were tight and tucked ,Air was clean and crisp, carpet was clean ,I always bring my sleeping bag because of the dirty bed linen the Hotels claim they change ,I didn't have to unpack it. We drove from hotel to hotel because of the outside appearance so you can imagine what it looks like on the inside. So whenever I'm traveling and need to stay over night I'm finding my go to Hotel which is ? That's right People ...Microtel...great job Guys!
